Polaroid Graphics

Hello hello my fellow bloggers

I really can't wait for 2013 to end. Why? It's because I got tons of reasons why it should end already.

However let's not end the year of complaining and whining about things that cannot be change in the past. It's the past already! Duh! Let's just talk about things that are in the present and good for the future. How about that?

Oh I got a question for you guys. And this is an important question coming for me.

How did you guys spend your last Friday night of 2013? Sleep? Work? Maybe Shopping?

Well for me, I got to spend some family bonding with my expanding bear family.

Yes, I'm going to blog about my Bear family again today. Plus this is the last blog post i'm going to post for 2013. I'm going to end my year with good memories and laughter with my bears.

Nothing beats a good bowling and hooka nights with a couple of crazy bears like me.

Well that's all for now,

Sorry for the short blog post today...

I'll talk to you guys soon in 2014 which literally in few days!!!!!!

And wait for my New Year's Challenge okay?

Until then,

Staying warm inside the house? Nope. We stayed warm outside the cold bipolar weather of San Fran.

After our successful Halloween Party that we had last October, we decided we should do a Bon-fire Gathering in December. What's more fun making smores and staying warm outside? ♨(*¯︶¯*)♨

In the beginning the month of November, I actually thought that this bon fire event is not going to happen anytime soon. We kept on talking/planning about it but because of everybody's conflict of day's off schedule, we really can't decide what day should we do it.

However, I took the risk to ask them again one last time before the end of November. I called them one by one, luckily most of them are able to go on the first Thursday of the week of December. Although some family members did not come due to the fact they got sick that week and sudden change of work schedule.

Nevertheless we all got together for some Bear family bonding experience. It's about time we do something out of the ordinary and just enjoy each others company.

Without further a due, here some of the pictures we took on our very own First time Bon Fire Gathering

Time to light up the Bon fire!!

We brought all the essential for the bon fire. We got the woods, mats and blankets. Also we brought some hot dogs graham crackers and marshmallows.

And this is our jump shot pictures at the beach. We tried several times to take the perfect jump shot pic but somehow the camera is not willing to compromise with us. Bonding times like this are hard to come by, specially when everybody is willing to participate. GO JUMP BEARS!

Then Uncle Willy Bear had this crazy request while we were taking pictures, he wanted to take pictures of all our fingers together and shoes as well. I don't even know what he was drinking that night. I blame it on the burnt hot dog he ate that night.

As the time flies by, we created more wonderful memories to hold on and be thankful for the friendship that we have for one another. Even though we are not perfect humans, we can be fully imperfect for one night with each other's insanity.

After our bon fire, we decided we should go for some more happy hour, so we went straight to Tiki haven for some drinks and played some fun board games.

We ordered our favorite drink "FIRE BOWL", we got the Strawberry and Peach blended punch made with rum, vodka, and gin with cranberry. I really recommend this drink for all the bar people goer!! Fun to share with friends.

Then it was our last of stop of our crazy Bon Fire Gathering Event; we went to Aunty Ling Ling Bear's house. We had the chance to finally go and see her house for the first time. By the time we got to her house, we invaded her house with full of craziness and laughter.

Well that's all for now...

I know it's a long blog post, but I want thank you guys for taking your time reading my crazy bear family event and hope you guys enjoy the pictures as well. I appreciate all my followers for reading all my weirdo blog.

Until next time,

2013 was like a crazy roller coaster for me. I went to my ups and downs this year and somehow I manage to stay strong and be sane for my own sake. Even though, I experienced a lot of bad things this year, I still manage to find couple of new friends as my escape to my reality.

So today is a special day because I'm finally introducing my new expanding BEAR FAMILY.
I do admit that I got a lot of sets of friends. I mean from the start it was just my YPG Girls from high school days, My LiFe Co. from college life and now it's my Bear Family.

I don't know when we started making all of this funny nicknames to each other but we started this family just the five of us. It was always the five of us in the beginning; My Boo, Me, RV, Fionna and Hannah.

The first two people we had nickname was Hannah and RV.

RV always act like our (boo and I) one and only son. So we started calling him our Jun-Jun Bear. In filipino culture, when they call u Jun-jun in the family that means you maybe the youngest or the junior of you're father's name.

Then it was Hannah's turn. We called Hannah as "Ate Vin" or "Vin-Vin Bear" because well she like a grenade that you don't wanna mess with. Silent but when it's out it's really explosive. Like a ticking bomb. Nowadays we call her "Grumpy Bear" because she's always grumpy.

After that it was Fionna's turn. They always think that Fionna and I are sister. Literally real sisters but we are not related at all. We just happened to be chubby, girly and crazy most of the time. So we made up this nickname for her. So we called her "Aunty Pat". Pat short for "antipatika" meaning she's a snob. Since she colored her hair with highlights and making money on her own at that time, we kept on teasing her about her comeback from Dubia and her business became bankrupt. Poor Fionna always the target one of this dysfunctional family.

RV and Fionna had this ridiculous friend-enemy type of relationship. RV teasing Fionna because of her previous dramatic love life and Fionna hating/loving him as a friend most of the time.

Well last but not the least the main people in this family are my boo and myself. They call me the "Mama bear" and boo being the "Papa Bear". Because we are the sources (roadtrips, the love of adventure, and foodtrips), so it was suitable for us to be called the Mama and the Papa Bear.

Now that I covered all the basic people in this crazy family. I would like to introduce all the new members of this family.

Carlo's nickname was "Care Bear" or sometimes we call him "Don't care Bear" because he does care and sometimes he doesn't care at all. One of my favorite phrases you will hear him say when I asked him where you want to go is "I don't care, anywhere you want to go"

We moved on to Linda a.k.a "Aunty Lin-Lin" and Wilfred as "Uncle Willy". This two are suppose to be my boo's siblings.

Then we have Jackie as "Cousin Kute Jack Jack", Patrictk as "Uncle Pat" and Melisa as " Mangang Redlipstick Bear" coz she always wear red lipstick.

Before I end this blog post, I just want to thank my BEAR Family for all the laughter they have given to me. For all the annoying teasing, awesome roadtrips, and the unending food coma's, I just want to tell you guys that I love each and every one of you like my own family.

You guys means so much to me. I hope we can create more new memories as we grow and don't grow up with each other.
And I want more road trips with my new expanding BEAR FAM-BAM next year! ^^

Well that's all for now...

Until next time,

Did you guys remember the polaroid pictures that I promise I will show you guys someday?

Well today is a wonderful polaroid picture day ╰( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I used my polaroid camera at the Hotel Halloween Party that we had last Halloween and I was surprised everybody like taking pictures from my camera. Believe me when I say everybody wants to take the pictures like their own souvenir from the party. However I can't let them take any of the pictures because I was saving all the pictures for the poster my boo and I made.

So here are some of the pictures from my polaroid camera. •﹏•

Well that's all for now...

I can't believe it's the last month of 2013. It's a bittersweet kind of a year for me. I'm hoping 2014 give me luck and prosperity. ♣

Until next time,

No. I'm not talking about being in love with a new beau,

But a new love for food that I actually tried for first time this year.

I might ramble a lot of things about how I'm such a food lover to you guys today, so I'll try my best to keep it short and not to be super obsessive about every food I eat. Okay?

Oh and yes, I'm still with my boo. Majority of the time, he's the one who's always with me when it comes to eating delicious food. One thing we have in common is that we both love Japanese food. And now that I introduce him to the world of Korean food, he's now a Korean food lover too. I'm planning next year to make him like Peruvian food. I'm a bad influence to him, don't I??

Anyway, I think its about time to talk/see some pictures of the food I have been bragging about..

[ Corn w/ B.B.Q. Pork Ramen ]

I love noodles and I love me some bbq pork and to top it all with corn in the broth is so wonderful. I love it!!! I love eating there when its a foggy and I just happened to be there at Dtown. Also try the Grilled Hokkaido Scallop Ramen. The bf loves eating seafood, so when he tried the scallop ramen, well he said to me it was the best scallop he have ever eaten.

Location : AJISEN RAMEN at Westfield Mall Downtown SF. Foodcourt area.

[ PHO Combination BBQ and Shrimp with Vermicelli Noodle]

When it comes to eating at Pho Garden, I always order this dish. Why? Well If the bf request to eat at any kind of Pho restaurant and I don't feel like eating noodle soup, I ordered this dish. I just add the Hoisin sauce and mix it like a bimbimbap and just enjoy eating it.

[  Skewer Sampler, Watermelon Soju, and Chicken Gizzard w/Roasted Garlic  ]

I was always curious about this one particular Korean restaurant people kept talking about on fb and saying the have the best Watermelon Soju. Luckily I had the chance to check it out with some of my close friends and every since then we love going to this place. It's always packed with people and

Sukiyaki Shabu-Shabu Beef & Seafood Medley Style ]

Its been a long time since I tried the regular Shabu-Shabu dish at Japantown. But this year, I tried the Sukiyaki Shabu-Shabu Style and it was delicious. All the ingredient for the Sukiyaki, it's cooked in shallow pots of iron with soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. What really got me enjoying eating my food was the are usually dipped in beaten raw eggs before eating.

Well of course, I won't forget my favorite spot around the Bay Area.

[ Cool Lime without water with a pump of raspberry ]

I love this drink refresher because it always remind me of some alcohol drinks especially margarita. It's like my non-alcoholic drink that makes me crave for some alcoholic drink. Hahahaha I don't know how to explain it.

[ Sweet Dream's Mini cupcakes ; Banana Split, Red Velvet and Key Lime Pie ]

I found my favorite Bakery store. My mom and I always go this bakery every time we go to Costco. We always buy the Key Lime Pie cupcakes.

Last but not the least...

Random foodie that I always love to eat.

1. Shrimp Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce.
2.  Chocolate Silvana (buttercream sandwiched between two cashew-maringue wafers)
3. Ahi Tuna
4. Sweet Mango Crepe
5. Turkey in a blanket.
6. Wendy's Pretzel Bun with Bacon Burger.

Well that's all for now,

Always fall in love ♥ with food ^.^

If you happened to be at SF Bay Area, you should try some of the places my friends and I go to.

I'm having a bon-fire gathering with my bear fam-bam next Thursday.

Until next time,
